Marutha Movie Review
In
the direction of GRS, "Marutha" focus on the dignity of Southern part
in Tamilnadu. In the place of Madurai district, a custom called
"Seimurai", which makes an aggressive life pattern to the families.
The film Marutha opens up Kaali (Viji Chandrasekhar) chases a man in the
fierceness manner (with enlarged opened eyes, mouth filled with betel leaves,
which she folds her tongue) to collect the capital and interest amounts.
Parallel,
Meenakshi family invites her sister-in-law (Kaali) for the family function,
Meenakshi's brother Maayan (Saravanan) aggregate a huge amount of money for the
formality of Seimurai. Over twenty years later Kaali decided to arrange a
marriage function for her daughter Amudhavalli (Lovelyn Chandrasekhar). Now,
Kaali expects Moi Panam in double from her relatives, whoever she had given as
Moi Panam.
Meenakshi
worried about Seimurai, that she needs to return back in double. Unfortunately,
Meenakshi's conditions were pathetic, her husband was suicide for his inability
and even Meenakshi's son was a lethargic guy. With these scenarios, Meenakshi
was affected by the Brian tumor. With this tough situation Meenakshi sustain
her dignity is the film "Marutha".
"Marutha" Kaali and Meenakshi eccentrics were an outstanding feature, extraordinarily excels in their characters, Kaali was belligerent appealing and Meenakshi kinder performances are delightful, Lovelyn Chandrasekhar debut executions are righteousness. "Marutha" typical rural base concept and the music had been composed by Ilaiyaraaja which is literally ancillary to the film.
