Maruthi Nagar Police Station Movie Review 

The story of the film is based on the events that happen one day and night at the Maruti Nagar Police Station. Mahat is assassinated by a powerful and wealthy gang. A group of friends, including Varalakshmi and Santosh Pratap come to know that Amit Bhargav and Subramaniam Siva killed him. With this scenario, the guys plan to kill both of them.

The cop Varalakshmi asks for a transfer to the Maruti Nagar police station. According to their plan, both of them are being shot at in the police station. Subramaniam Shiva is killed in this. Amit Bhargav is struggling for the survival with the injury.

But it turns out that it was not the Varalakshmi group that did the firing. At one point, Varalakshmi discovers that it was Aarav, who happens to be a top police officer, who attacked Amit Bhargav and Subramaniam Siva. But Aarav says he did it to save the Varalakshmi crew from this crime. Why should Aarav save them?... This film describes the enmity between the assassinated and Aarav in the style of a crime thriller.

Director Dayal Padmanabhan has given a story in the style of a mature crime thriller with an underwhelming screenplay. Apart from the flashback scenes related to Mahat, the other investigation scenes increase the anticipation of the film. Although the songs hinder the film, the background score is enjoyable at some points. Especially the scenes where Varalakshmi is planning to kill arouses the interest of the movie goers.
