Music School Movie Review

"Music School" depicts the concerns of Manoj (Sharman Joshi), the Head of the Art Department, and Mary (Shriya Saran), a new music teacher, as they observe a decline in student enrollment due to academic pressure. To address this, they establish an after-school music academy and plan to stage "The Sound of Music." The film tackles the expectations imposed by schools and parents, favoring academics over extracurricular activities. While the first half effectively establishes the plot, the film loses momentum with lengthy musical sequences that become tiresome. The movie features 11 songs, including beloved tracks from "The Sound of Music." Shriya Saran shines in her role, igniting the screen with her presence. Sharman Joshi's character evokes cheerfulness, and the chemistry between the leads is warm. While lacking impact, the film manages to evoke emotions through its simplicity.
