Director Aravind Rajagopal presents a compelling psychological thriller that delves into a series of mysterious suicides, all connected by a cryptic chess book. The story follows Inspector Akilan (Shaam), a dedicated police officer stationed in Kodaikanal, who becomes entangled in a chilling case where individuals inexplicably take their own lives by stabbing themselves in the bladder. As Akilan pieces together the clues, he recalls an old tale about a Japanese emperor who forced his opponents to commit suicide upon losing a chess match. Despite being on leave after a brutal attack by criminals, Akilan is determined to solve the case.
