Lyca Productions, one of Tamil cinema's biggest production houses,  today released the first look of actor Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan in director P Vasu's eagerly awaited horror-comedy 'Chandramukhi 2'.

The First Look poster of Raghava Lawrence as Vettaiyan, a character played by none other than superstar Rajinikanth in the first part of the franchise, has thrilled fans and audiences and heightened expectations.  

In fact, Chandramukhi 2, which features multi-faceted star Raghava Lawrence as the protagonist, is one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year. 

The film is being directed by P Vasu, a man who has delivered several family entertainers that went on to emerge as blockbusters. Chandramukhi 2 happens to be P Vasu's 65th directorial venture and features Raghava Lawrence, Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut, ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Sirushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Maria, Suresh Menon and Subiksha Krishnan among others.

Mega Prince Varun Tej who is flexible in doing all kinds of movies will be joining forces with director Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame for his 14th movie to be produced on a grand scale by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments. #VT14 movie which is mounted on a grand scale for Varun Tej has been launched grandly today in Hyderabad in the presence of the team and several special guests.

Suresh Babu and the film’s producers handed over the script to the director to start the proceedings. Director Maruthi switched on the camera for the muhurtham shot, while mega producer Allu Aravind sounded the clapboard. Dil Raju did the honorary direction. Harish Shankar launched the title poster.

#VT14 is titled interestingly as Matka and the title poster is designed uniquely and impressively. Matka is a form of gambling. The story which takes place between 1958-1982 is based on a real incident that shook the entire nation and the story is set in the backdrop of Vizag. The story spans 24 years. As the story progresses from 1958 to 82, we are going to see Varun Tej in four different get-ups. The actor indeed will undergo a complete makeover for the movie which will be the highest budget entertainer for the actor.

Norah Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary are roped in to play opposite Varun Tej and the makers have a special song in the movie featuring the Bollywood Star who is making her Tollywood run with this Pan India Feature film. Naveen Chandra and Kannada Kishore are the other prominent cast.

A huge vintage set depicting Vizag in the 60s will be constructed for the movie. The team indeed is taking extra care to get the milieu and the feel of the 60s. Ashish Teja is the production designer and Suresh is the art director.

The makers zeroed in on a team of wonderful technicians to work for the movie. GV Prakash Kumar who is one of the busiest composers in the south will be providing music, while Priyaseth will handle the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor.

Matka has a universal appeal, thus it will be made at a Pan India level. This indeed is the first Pan India project for Varun Tej and it will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s 14th film to be directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa fame will be produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala on a high budget under the banner of Vyra Entertainments. #VT14 will be the highest-budgeted movie for Varun Tej.

Meenakshi Chaudhary is considered to play the lead actress in the movie. Another update is that Nora Fatehi is part of the project. The actress who is popular for doing special numbers will be playing a vital role in #VT14. She will also shake her leg in a special number.

The movie #VT14 is set in the period backdrop of the 1960s in Vizag. The team will be taking extra care to get the milieu and the feel of the 60s.

The movie will be launched in a grand manner on the 27th of this month in Hyderabad. The makers will announce the rest of the cast and crew on the same date.

தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகி இருக்கும் 'எல் ஜி எம்' திரைப்படம் எதிர்வரும் 28 ஆம் தேதியன்று திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி இயக்கத்தில் தயாராகி இருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்தில் ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண், இவானா, நதியா, யோகி பாபு, ஆர். ஜே. விஜய் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். விஸ்வஜித் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்கு இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். முழு நீள குடும்ப பொழுதுபோக்கு நகைச்சுவை சித்திரமாக தயாராகி இருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்தை தோனி எண்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் பட நிறுவனம் சார்பில் சாக்ஷி சிங் தோனி மற்றும் விகாஸ் ஹசிஜா ஆகியோர் தயாரித்திருக்கிறார்கள். இந்த திரைப்படத்தை தோனி எண்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் வழங்குகிறது. தமிழகம் முழுவதும் சக்தி ஃபிலிம் ஃபேக்டரி வெளியிடுகிறது. 

இப்படத்தின் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் உள்ள நெக்ஸஸ் மால் வணிக வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. இதன் போது சாக்ஷி சிங் தோனி, ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண், இவானா, நதியா, ஆர். ஜே. விஜய், இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி, விநியோகஸ்தர் சக்தி வேலன் ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். 

விநியோகஸ்தர் சக்திவேலன் பேசுகையில், '' தோனி உலகம் முழுதும் அறிந்த சர்வதேச கிரிக்கெட் வீரர். அவர் மீது தமிழ் ரசிகர்கள் வைத்திருக்கும் அபிமானத்தின் காரணமாக, அவர் நம் மண்ணை அவருடைய சொந்த மண்ணாக கருதி, தமிழில் தன்னுடைய முதல் திரைப்படத்தை தயாரித்திருக்கிறார். இதனை வெளியிடுவதற்கு கிடைத்த வாய்ப்பை பெருமிதமாக கருதுகிறேன். இந்த திரைப்படம் - குடும்பத்துடன் பார்க்கக்கூடிய கம்ப்ளீட் என்டர்டெய்னர் படமாக இருக்கும். படத்தில் நாயகனாக நடித்திருக்கும் ஹரிஷ் கல்யாணுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றும் முதல் படம். என்னுடைய 20 ஆண்டுகால நண்பர் ரமேஷ். அவர் இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராக அறிமுகமாவது எனக்கு பெருமையான விசயம்.

திரையரங்கத்தில் பணியாற்றும் 60 வயதுள்ள தொழிலாளி ஒருவர், நதியா மீதுள்ள பற்றின் காரணமாக அவரை ஓவியமாக வரைந்து.. அவரிடம் நேரில் சமர்ப்பிக்க வாய்ப்பு தருமாறு என்னிடம் கேட்டார். இவரைப்போல் கடந்த 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக ஏராளமான ரசிகர்களை சம்பாதித்து வைத்திருப்பவர் நடிகை நதியா. அவரும் இந்த படத்தில் நடித்திருப்பது மிக்க மகிழ்ச்சி.

படக்குழுவினரிடம், பட தயாரிப்பு குழுவினரிடமும் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது.. அவர்கள் தல தோனி பற்றி பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும் ஒவ்வொரு  விசயமும் ஆச்சரியமாக இருந்தது. அவர் நம்மை போல் சாதாரண மனிதர் அல்ல சாதனையாளர். கிரேட் மேன். அவர் தமிழில் தயாரிக்கும் முதல் திரைப்படத்திற்கு அனைவரும் திரையரங்கத்திற்கு வருகை தந்து ஆதரவு அளிக்க வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்'' என்றார். 

ஆர். ஜே. விஜய் பேசுகையில், '' படத்தின் இயக்குநர் கதையை அவரது தோளில் சுமக்கிறார் என்றால்.. ஊடகங்கள் கேமராக்களை தங்கள் தோளில் சுமந்து கொண்டு இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கிறீர்கள். அதற்காக முதலில் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். ஒரு படத்திற்கு கதாசிரியர் கதை எழுதலாம். இயக்குநர் இயக்கலாம். நட்சத்திர நடிகர்கள் அதில் நடிக்கலாம். ஆனால் அந்த படம் நன்றாக இருக்கிறதா? இல்லையா? என்பதை மக்களிடம் எடுத்துச் சொல்லும் வேலையை ஊடகங்களான நீங்கள் தான் செய்கிறீர்கள். தொடர்ந்து நீங்கள் இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்கு ஆதரவளிக்க வேண்டும் என கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன். 

இந்தப் படத்தைப் பற்றி சொல்ல வேண்டுமென்றால்... படத்தின் தொடக்க விழாவில் திருமதி சாக்ஷி தோனி வருகை தந்தார்கள். அப்போது அவருடைய பாதுகாவலர்கள் அனைவரையும் 'விலகு விலகு' என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்கள். அவர்களிடத்தில் சாக்ஷி தோனி, 'அதன் யாரும் இல்லையே.. பின் எதற்கு வழி விடு வழி விடு என்று சொல்கிறீர்கள்' என இயல்பாக கேட்டார்கள்.‌ அது முதல் தற்போது வரை அவர்களை பார்க்கிறேன். அவர்கள் மிகவும் இயல்பாக.. கூலாக.. இருக்கிறார்கள். 

அடுத்தது 'தல' தோனி. அவர் படப்பிடிப்பு நடக்கும்போது வருவார் என்று எதிர்பார்த்திருந்தோம். வரவில்லை. ஆனால் படத்தின் பணிகள் நிறைவடைந்து இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் அவரை சந்திக்கும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. அப்போது அவர் என் அருகே வந்து, 'ஹலோ விஜய்' என்று அவர் என்னை பெயர் சொல்லி அழைத்தவுடன்.. மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தேன். அவரை சந்தித்த அந்த தருணம் மறக்க முடியாது. 

இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் நிறைய கதைகளை என்னிடம் சொல்லி இருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்தில் நடிப்பதற்கு  வாய்ப்பளித்ததற்காக அவருக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். ஹரிஷ் கல்யாணுடன் இணைந்து நடிக்கும் போது மீண்டும் கல்லூரி காலகட்டம் ஞாபகம் வந்தது. படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் அனைவரும் இணைந்து உற்சாகமாக பணியாற்றினோம். சுற்றுலாவின் போது பிரின்ஸ்பால் திடீரென்று நட்பாகி விடுவார். அதைப் போல் இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பின் போது நதியா மேடம் ஏழு மொழிகளுக்கு மேல் தெரிந்திருப்பதால் எங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அவர் நட்பாகி விட்டார்.'' என்றார். 

நடிகை இவானா பேசுகையில், '' முன்னோட்டத்தில் நான் பேசும் ஒரு டயலாக், 'எனக்கு ஒரு ஐடியா'. இது பிரபலமாகிவிட்டது. இந்த வசனத்தை நான் பேசியிருப்பது பெருமிதமாக இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் இந்த ஐடியாவை சாக்ஷி மேடம் தான் உண்மையிலேயே கொடுத்தார்கள். இந்தப் படத்தில் பணியாற்றும் போது மிகவும் சந்தோஷமாக இருந்தது. அனைவரும் ஒரு குடும்பம் போல் இணைந்து பணியாற்றினோம். என்னுடைய இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி ரொம்ப கூலானவர். படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் எங்களுடன் இணைந்து அவரும் அரட்டை அடிப்பார். ஒரு இயக்குநருக்குரிய கண்டிப்பு இல்லாமல் ஜாலியாக இருந்தார். எங்களுக்கு நிறைய சுதந்திரம் கொடுத்தார்கள். படத்தில் வசனங்கள் இயல்பாக பேசுவது போல் இருக்கும். இந்தப் படத்தில் சீனியர் நடிகையான நதியா மேடத்திடமிருந்து நிறைய விசயங்களை கற்றுக் கொண்டேன். இந்த திரைப்படத்தில் நடிகர் ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண் அவருடைய ஸ்டைலில் நடித்திருக்கிறார். ஒரு காட்சிக்கு அவர் தயாராவதும் .. காட்சிக்கான மனநிலையில் தொடர்ந்து இருப்பது போன்ற விசயங்களை... அவரிடம் இருந்து கற்றுக் கொண்டேன். தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் நிறுவனத்திற்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். என்னுடைய திரையுலக பயணத்தில் 'லவ் டுடே' படத்திற்குப் பிறகு என்ன படத்தில் நடிக்கிறீர்கள்? என நிறைய பேர் கேள்வி கேட்டார்கள். அவர்களுக்கான பதிலை இந்த திரைப்படம் சொல்லும். இந்தப் படத்தில் நான் பங்கேற்று நடித்திருப்பதை மகிழ்ச்சியாக கருதுகிறேன். இந்தத் திரைப்படத்தை காண திரையரங்கத்திற்கு வருகை தந்து ஆதரவு அளிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்'' என்றார்.

நடிகை நதியா பேசுகையில், '' இந்தப் படத்திற்கு தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மெண்ட் என்ற பட தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனமே மிகப்பெரிய அட்ராக்சன். தோனி என்ற ஒருவரின் பெயர் இடம் பெற்றால் போதும்... இப்படத்திற்கு அதுவே மிகப்பெரிய விளம்பரம். ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி இப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர். மிக மிக திறமையானவர். இயக்குநர் மட்டுமல்ல இப்படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். ஒரு பாடலைறயும் பாடியிருக்கிறார். கேப்டன் தோனி எப்படி மிகவும் கூல் என்று சொல்கிறோமோ... அதே போல் இவரும் மிகவும் அமைதியான மனிதர். அவர் இயல்பாக பழகியதால் தான் படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் அனைவரும் ஒன்றிணைந்து மகிழ்ச்சியாக பணியாற்றினோம்.

இந்தப் படத்தின் கதை மிகவும் சுவாரசியமானது. இந்தப் படத்தில் மெசேஜ் என்று எதுவும் இல்லை. இந்தப் படத்தில் சொல்லியிருக்கும் ஐடியா சாக்க்ஷி தோனியுடையது. அது அனைவருக்கும் பிடிக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன். படத்தில் நடித்த நடிகர் நடிகைகளுக்கும் தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்களுக்கும் தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் நிறுவனத்தின் தயாரிப்பு குழுவினருக்கும் என்னுடைய நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். ஜூலை 28ஆம் தேதி தியேட்டருக்கு வாங்க. ஃபேமிலியோட வாங்க. சிரிச்சுக்கிட்டே இருப்பீங்க. சிரிச்சுக்கிட்டே போவீங்க.'' என்றார். 

ஹரிஷ் கல்யாண் பேசுகையில், '' நான் நடித்த திரைப்படம் திரையரங்கில் வெளியாகி மூன்று ஆண்டுகளாகிறது. கொரோனா காலகட்டத்திற்குப் பிறகு திரையரங்கில் எப்போது திரைப்படம் வெளியாகும் என எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். எந்த வகையான சினிமா வரும்? மக்கள் எப்படி ஆதரவு கொடுப்பார்கள்? என யோசித்துக் கொண்டே இருந்தேன். விஜய், அஜித், ரஜினி போன்ற நட்சத்திர நடிகர்கள் நடித்து வெளியாகும் திரைப்படங்களுக்கு ரசிகர்கள் திரையரங்கத்திற்கு சென்று ரசிக்கிறார்கள். என்னை போன்ற வளர்ந்து வரும் நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் இளம் நடிகர்களின் படங்களுக்கு மக்கள் திரையரங்கத்திற்கு வருகை தருவார்களா..! என்ற கவலை இருந்தது. 'லவ் டுடே', 'டா டா', 'குட் நைட்', 'போர் தொழில்'... போன்ற படங்களை மக்கள் வெற்றி பெற வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். இத்தகைய வெற்றியை அளித்ததற்காக மக்களுக்கு முதலில் நன்றி. இது என்னை போன்று அடுத்தடுத்து வளர்ந்து வரும் நடிகர்களுக்கு உற்சாகமளிக்கக்கூடிய விசயம். 

நாம் ஒருவரை ரசிப்போம். ஒருவரை பிடிக்கும். ஒருவருக்கு ரசிகராக இருந்திருப்போம். ஆனால் தோனி என்றால்.. அது ஒரு ஆளுமை மட்டுமல்ல. உணர்வு. குறிப்பாக தமிழக மக்களுக்கு தோனி மீது அளவு கடந்த பிரியம்.‌ அதைவிட தமிழக மக்கள் உணர்வுபூர்வமானவர்கள். குடும்பத்தின் மீதும்.. நண்பர்கள் மீதும்.. உணர்வுபூர்வமாக பின்னி பிணைந்து இருப்பார்கள். தோனியின் கோடிக்கணக்கான ரசிகர்களின் நானும் ஒருவர். அவர் தமிழில் தயாரித்திருக்கும் முதல் படத்தில் நானும் நடித்திருக்கிறேன் என்பது எனக்கு கிடைத்த ஜாக்பாட். மேலும் எனக்கு இந்த வாய்ப்பு அளித்ததற்காக ரசிகர்கள் சார்பாக தோனி என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் நிறுவனத்திற்கும், தோனிக்கும், திருமதி சாக்ஷி தோனிக்கும் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். 

நதியா, இவானா, ஆர். ஜே. விஜய், யோகி பாபு என அனைவருடனும் பணிபுரிந்தது மறக்க இயலாத அனுபவம். படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் எங்களிடம் இருந்த உற்சாகம் திரையிலும் இடம் பிடித்திருக்கிறது என நினைக்கிறேன். '' என்றார். 

இயக்குநர் ரமேஷ் தமிழ்மணி பேசுகையில், '' எல் ஜி எம் படத்தை இயக்க வாய்ப்பளிப்பதற்காக திருமதி சாக்ஷி சிங் தோனி மற்றும் தல தோனி மற்றும் அவரது தயாரிப்பு குழுவினருக்கு முதலில் நன்றியை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். தோனி நினைத்திருந்தால் யாருக்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் வாய்ப்பளித்திருக்கலாம். 

இந்த படத்தைப் பற்றி சொல்ல வேண்டுமென்றால் படத்திற்கான கதை கருவை திருமதி சாக்ஷி மேடம் சொன்னார்கள். அது எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. அதை சற்று விரிவாக்கம் செய்து கொடுத்தேன். அது சாக்ஷி மேடத்திற்கு பிடித்திருந்தது. பிறகு அவர் தோனியிடம் விவாதித்தார். தோனியும் சில அறிவுறுத்தல்களை வழங்கினார்.

ஒரு சாதாரணமான கான்செப்ட்டை பிரமாண்டமாக காண்பிக்க வேண்டும் என நினைத்தோம். அதற்காக நிறைய விவாதித்தோம். படத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரத்தில் பொருத்தமான நடிகர்களை தேர்வு செய்து நடிக்க வைத்தோம். அவர்களும் தங்களுடைய பொறுப்பினை உணர்ந்து நடித்துக் கொடுத்தார்கள். பெரும்பாலான காட்சிகள் முதல் டேக்கிலேயே ஓகே ஆனது. 

ஆர். ஜே. விஜயை அவருடைய இயல்பிலேயே நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கூறினேன். அவர் இயல்பாக நடிக்க வைப்பதில் தான் சற்று கட்டுப்பாடாக நடந்துக் கொண்டேன். ஒளிப்பதிவாளர், படத்தொகுப்பாளர், கலை இயக்குநர் என அனைவரும் தங்களது முழுமையான ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கினர். 

இது ஒரு ஜாலியான திரைப்படம். இந்த திரைப்படத்தில் சினிமாத்தனமான வசனங்கள் இல்லாமல்.. தினசரி வாழ்க்கையில் பேசும் வசனங்கள் தான் இடம் பிடித்திருக்கிறது. கன்டென்ட்டாக பார்க்கும் போது இது ஒரு சர்வதேச அளவிற்கானது. இதற்கு நாங்கள் தீர்வு என்று எதையும் சொல்லவில்லை. அப்படியே ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதைத்தான் வலியுறுத்தி இருக்கிறோம். இது ஒரு ஃபேண்டஸி சப்ஜெக்ட். குடும்பத்தில் இருக்கும் மாமியார், மருமகள் என ஒவ்வொருக்கும் அவர்களுடைய விசயங்களை அப்படியே ஏற்றுக் கொள்வது தான் பொருத்தமானது என்பதை சொல்லியிருக்கிறோம். இதை அறிவுரையாக சொல்லாமல் அற்புதமான தருணங்களாக உணர்த்தியிருக்கிறோம்.

Lyca Productions has kept the cinema calendar of film buffs occupied for the entire year, and has been continuously savouring the tastes with a long queue of entertaining films. Chandramukhi 2, featuring the iconic and multi-faceted star Raghava Lawrence as the protagonist has been creating sensation among the audience and trade circles. The team has officially announced some interesting updates about the film now. 

The film is directed by the most celebrated ‘Star Director’ P. Vasu, which marks his 65th directorial venture. The film features Raghava Lawrence, Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut, ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Sirushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Vignesh, Ravi Maria, Suresh Menon, Subiksha Krishnan and many others in the star cast. 

While R.D. Rajashekar is handling cinematography for this film, Academy Award winner MM Keeravani is composing music. Thotta Tharani is overseeing production designing and Anthony is taking care of editing works. 

Lyca Productions is producing this film, a horror-comedy by genre, in a grand scale. The film’s works are briskly progressing under G.K.M. Tamizh Kumaran, Head of Lyca Productions. 

The shooting of Chandramukhi 2 is already completed, and the postproduction work is progressing near completion with Raghava Lawrence wrapping up his dubbing works. 

Academy award-winning music director MM Keeravani will start composing background score for this film from July 22 onwards. The makers are planning to host the Chandramukhi 2 audio launch in grand manner with first single track to be unveiled next month.

Kalki 2989 AD Triumphs with Thunderous Applause at San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H Debut

The highly-anticipated film Kalki2989AD  produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, made its historic debut at the renowned Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), eliciting a warm welcome from the excited audience, who erupted into thunderous applause. The grand event marked a significant milestone as Kalki2989AD became the first-ever Indian film to participate in the prestigious international Comic-Con.

The atmosphere at Hall H was electrifying as the audience was treated to an unforgettable spectacle. A procession of drummers and women gracefully holding candles danced ceremoniously on stage, setting the tone for a night filled with cinematic marvels.

The anticipation reached its peak when the actors Kamal Haasan, Prabhas along with the director Nag Ashwin, producer C Aswani Dutt, Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt Chalasani stepped onto the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy of excitement.

Director Nag Ashwin, when asked about assembling such a stellar cast, revealed, "It's their love for storytelling that brought us all together. I had this idea, and the story just came along. I love science fiction and mythology, and I grew up with both Mahabharata and Star Wars. Making a film that combines both these worlds felt ideal, and thus, 'Kalki 2989 AD' was born."

Mr. Bachchan further revealed, "When Nagi told me we were chosen to go to Comic-Con, I was unaware of how significant this was. My son enlightened me about the magnitude of this opportunity."

'Kalki2989AD' has a big vision, and I am glad to be a part of it. I remember when I wanted to create troopers; I had used hockey masks as part of the costume design, but 'Kalki2989AD' has done it in style, and I love it."

Vyjayanthi Movies founder and Producer C Aswani Dutt also graced the panel along  with his daughters Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt Chalasani and reflected on his journey from black and white to sci-fi with Kalki 2989 AD. "I started my career with NT Rama Rao, and it took me 50 years of hard work to reach Amit ji, Kamal Ji, and my friend Prabhas. This is a very proud moment for us."
