Rudhran Movie Review:
The film Rudhran is
about sophisticated and highly educated people who leave their parents and settled abroad were targeted by a gang and grasping their properties is the
baseline.
In the first half, as usual, a lovely
family Devaraj (Nassar), and Indhrani (Poornima Bhagyaraj) are the parents of
Rudhran (Rahgava Lawrence), initially Rudhran was a jobless guy even though he
is a Mechanical engineer and in a scenario Ananya (Priya Bhavani Shankar) and
Rudhran were getting an affair with each other. Here is problem starts, Devaraj’s
trustworthy business partner cheated him and six crores worth of money was
taken by him.
Now, Devaraj dismisses his soul for
not being able to pay back the debt, and Rudhran takes responsibility, and he
accepts the offer at abroad. In the second half only, we can see a little
seriousness in the movie. An illicit man Bhoominathan (R. Sarathkumar), keeps
eye on old people whose children settled in foreign. Rudhran revenges the
Bhoominathan gang and starts an old age home.
Rahgava Lawrence believes in aggressive
songs with the setup of a god. In this film, the climax is with Kalabhairava
temple. In his films, for example (in Kanchana the villain was killed
in the Narasimha temple), even Rajinikanth body language and laughing resemble the film, Priya Bhavani Shankar matured and looks beautiful, and the
film filled with old format with a new concept and then nothing new.
Rating: 2.5/5
