Pulipandi (Veeti) is introduced as a teenager who is willing to do anything for money. He shares his idea with his mother that he can earn a significant amount by selling liquor on Gandhi Jayanti, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. However, Pulipandi and his friends find themselves unexpectedly involved in the murder of a politician, even though they didn't commit the crime. To evade the newly arrived police officer, they decide to escape to Sabarimala, which sets the stage for a major turning point in Pulipandi's life.

During his journey, Pulipandi encounters an elderly Muslim in Kerala and purchases a lottery ticket from him. Unaware of the ticket's potential positive impact on his life, he loses it at the same place.
