Echo Movie Review:
"Echo" is a gripping movie that delves into the unsettling impact of horrifying experiences on Prakash (played by Srikanth), a man leading a contented life with his wife, Diya (portrayed by Pooja Jhaveri). Diya (Pooja Jhaveri) is a magisterial owner of a company. Prakash feels a ghostly presence in his house which disturbs his marriage life. Diya decided to move out of Prakash’s life this made him a worried lot and seeking help from the black magician of Ashish Vidyarthi.
In a bid to find a remedy, Prakash shares his past life with the black magician, recounting his relationship with Nila (played by Vidya Pradeep). Nila is depicted as an innocent girl living in a village with her grandfather (Delhi Ganesh). Due to unresolved issues in the village, Prakash's mother decides that the only resolution is for Prakash to marry Nila.
Initially, Prakash avoids Nila but gradually warms up to her and starts a new life with the innocent girl. However, their peaceful existence takes a dark turn when they watch a horror movie together, and Nila's innocent nature seems to attract an unexplainable and ominous presence. This presence leads her to experience inexplicable occurrences, and she even attempts suicide after being haunted by a bizarre voice.
Srikanth's performance in "Echo" as a remarkable comeback, especially considering his less impressive role in the film "Coffee with Kadhal." The concept of karma is a prominent theme in the movie, as Prakash's actions in his past life come to haunt him in the present. Director Nawin Ghaesh's storytelling captivates the audience, ensuring that the narration remains engaging and far from boring.
Ashish Vidyarthi's portrayal of the black magician is hailed as commendable, adding depth to the movie's plot. His character plays a pivotal role in Prakash's quest for answers and resolution. Additionally, Naren Balakumar's skillful sound effects enhance the overall movie experience, effectively building tension and anxiety throughout the film.
Overall, "Echo" is an intriguing blend of horror, reincarnation, and the consequences of past actions. The film explores the complexities of relationships and how the repercussions of decisions made in past lives can affect the present. It is a gripping storyline that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
Viewers who appreciate suspenseful tales and psychological thrillers will find "Echo" to be a captivating watch. The performances of the cast, particularly Srikanth and Ashish Vidyarthi, add depth and authenticity to the characters they portray. The film's seamless narrative keeps the audience engrossed from start to finish.
In conclusion, “Echo: stands as a compelling movie that
successfully weaves elements of horror and drama. With its talented cast, skillful direction, and impact sound effects, the film offers an adequate cinematic
