In a mysterious tale set in Chennai, an elderly Muslim man named Shangili Murugan embarks on a desperate search for his missing son. Meanwhile, an upscale cab is discovered parked in a restricted, no-traffic zone. Upon investigation, it is revealed that the car belonged to the Inspector General (IG) and that his daughter was found dead inside. Initially labeled as an accident, further inquiry unveils a dark truth—it was a premeditated murder. Strangely, the IG assigns Inspector Soundarajan to secretly investigate the case.

 Amidst these unfolding events, two individuals named Vimal and his friend Satish run a YouTube channel called 'Kothu Parotta.' Murugan, in his quest to find his missing son, turns to them for assistance. The connection between this YouTube channel and the IG's daughter's murder remains unclear at this point. The intrigue deepens as the plot thickens.

Vimal, an enthusiastic volunteer for city action stories, plays a prominent role in the unfolding drama. His catchphrase, "I will be ready," resonates throughout the story. Clad in an unconventional style—wearing a t-shirt beneath an unbuttoned shirt—he exudes a distinct charm. However, his slurred speech, though fitting for a "mass hero," sometimes clashes with the dramatic dialogue delivery, particularly during intense "punch" scenes.
