Mutham Tha Movie Review:
The
film, directed by Rajdev, unfolds with a gripping narrative centered around
Sandhya, the resilient heroine who survives two separate attempts on her life.
Following a harrowing escape from her assailants, she suffers a severe injury,
leading to amnesia. Enter Vignesh, the hero, who discovers her wounded and
rushes her to the hospital. Tragically, the doctors reveal that Sandhya has
lost all recollection of her past.
As
Vignesh takes on the role of caretaker, a series of mysterious murders ensue,
prompting the scrutiny of Edward, a diligent police officer. Amidst the chaos,
Vignesh asserts himself as Sandhya's husband, claiming responsibility for her
well-being. However, as the pieces of the puzzle begin to fit together, Sandhya
uncovers Vignesh's sinister truth – he is the perpetrator behind the murders
plaguing their lives.
Despite
commendable performances by Srikanth and Priya, the film is marred by its
shortcomings. While the background music enhances the suspenseful atmosphere,
the excessive adult scenes detract from the overall viewing experience.
Additionally, the screenplay lacks polish, leaving gaps in character
development and plot coherence.
In retrospect, director Rajdev's vision offers a promising premise marred by execution flaws. By refining the screenplay, toning down explicit content, and strengthening character arcs, the film could reach its full potential and deliver a more satisfying cinematic experience for audiences.
