The film revolves around the life of Suri Chokan, who is profoundly devoted to his friend Karna, portrayed by Unni Mukundan. Their bond is symbolized by Karna raising Suri with great care, including feeding him rice, signifying their deep connection. Karna’s other close friend, Adi, played by Sasikumar, also shares a good relationship with Suri. However, their harmonious lives are disrupted when a politician sees an opportunity to exploit their temple for financial gain, setting off a chain of events that test their loyalty and principles.

 

Suri finds himself in a moral dilemma upon discovering the politician's corrupt plans. Torn between his unwavering loyalty to Karna, representing personal fidelity (Viswasa), and Adi, who stands for honesty and justice, Suri’s internal and external struggles drive the narrative. The film delves into themes of friendship, betrayal, and the clash between personal loyalty and moral righteousness, showcasing Suriya’s character as a man caught between conflicting values.

Despite a few predictable moments that might be considered minor setbacks and the substantial amount of violence that may be intense for some viewers, the film effectively portrays the impact of political greed on personal lives. Suri’s closing line, "You have turned me, who was good as a dog, into a human being," encapsulates the profound transformation of his character. The strong performances, compelling score, and engaging screenplay make this film a standout, exploring deep themes with emotional resonance.
