The much-anticipated trailer and song preview of the Tamil film MAX was grandly unveiled today. The occasion was graced by the film's producer, Kalaippuli S Thanu, acclaimed actor-producer Kichcha Sudeep, and the film's debut director, Vijay Kartikeyaa.
The event witnessed an impressive lineup of distinguished guests from the film fraternity, including veteran directors R.V. Udayakumar, Mysskin, Rajkumar Periasamy, and Desingh Periyasamy. Other dignitaries present were Ravi Kottarakara, President of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce and Film Federation of India, Katragadda Prasad, Ex-President of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, actor Ilavarasu, and dance choreographer Shobi, all of whom shared their admiration for the film, producer Thanu, director Vijay Kartikeyaa, and actor Kichcha Sudeep.
Speaking on the occasion, Kalaippuli S Thanu praised the team's dedication. He expressed confidence that MAX would captivate audiences with its unique storytelling and mesmerizing music and applauded Ajaneesh B. Loknath for delivering a chartbuster album.
Kiccha Sudeep, who plays the titular role and is also the co-producer of the film, highlighted the vision of debut director Vijay Kartikeyaa and heaped praises about producer Kalaippuli S Thanu quoting an incident when he first met him to acquire the Kannada rights of Kaakha Kaakha and said that not everyone would have a golden heart like Thanu Sir to have trusted in him and not charge a penny. He also expressed his desire to see the renowned producer make his mark in the Kannada industry as well.
The dignitaries on the stage also commended the film’s strong creative team and expressed their anticipation for its release. Director Vijay Kartikeyaa thanked the cast, crew, and special guests for their support and promised an unforgettable cinematic experience for viewers.
Director Mysskin expressed his gratitude towards producer Kalaippuli S Thanu for having trusted in him and giving him an opportunity to bring his vision to screen with his film Train starring Vijay Sethupathi and congratulated actor Kiccha Sudeep and the entire team of MAX for a huge success.
Directors Rajkumar Periasamy and Desingh Periyasamy expressed their admiration and respect for producer Kalaippuli S Thanu and how he's been instrumental in their growth to date. They also expressed their desire to collaborate with him soon.
Ravi Kottarakara, President of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce and Film Federation of India requested the media and film reviewers to be lenient towards any film that releases as cinema would be in a better place only if there are good films being produced back to back. The only source of entertainment the public had during the pandemic was films. So, to keep the production going, the media support is required. He also expressed his heartfelt wishes to the team for a grand success.
MAX is set to release in theaters on December 27, 2024, promising a perfect blend of action, drama, and entertainment.
