Samuthirakani stars as a lottery shop owner in Kumily, located near the Tamil Nadu border, grappling with the challenges of poverty. Living with his wife, played by Ananya, and their two daughters, his struggles are amplified by the need for a significant sum of money to address one daughter's speech impairment. The story takes a compelling turn when Bharathiraja's character, a man burdened with commitments, buys a lottery ticket that is a jackpot winner of one and a half crores.
