The film, directed by Ilango Ramanathan, begins with a pivotal moment when Vaibhav's father discovers that a young man has been watching women while they bathe. Furious at the act, he reprimands the young man with a slap and advises him to behave properly before heading home. However, an unexpected turn of events follows when he suddenly passes away while watching television. While his death is tragic, the real conflict arises due to an unspeakable issue that emerges at the time of his passing.

Vaibhav, caught in a difficult situation, finds himself unable to immediately inform his brother and family about their father's death. He realizes that before breaking the news, he must first resolve this mysterious and troubling issue. The film follows his struggles as he navigates a series of challenges, trying to ensure that his father’s final rites are performed with dignity and without complications.
