I, Nobody (Tamil Dubbed) Movie Review: A Common Man's Battle to Prove His Innocence

I, Nobody is a Malayalam film written by Sameer Abdul and directed by Nisam Basheer. The film has been dubbed into Tamil for a wider audience. It is produced by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R. Mehta, and C.V. Sarathi under the banners Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. The story revolves around an ordinary family man whose life changes unexpectedly after he is accused of a crime he did not commit.

Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Rajeevan, a common man who works hard to provide for his family. He and his wife Meera, played by Parvathy Thiruvothu, have differences of opinion, and their relationship is filled with frequent arguments. The couple has two daughters, and despite their family issues, Rajeevan continues to carry out his responsibilities as a husband and father.

The turning point of the film comes when Rajeevan gets trapped inside a bank during an unexpected situation and is branded as a robber. The public, as well as his own family, begin to believe that he is guilty. The rest of the story focuses on Rajeevan's struggle to prove his innocence and clear his name while facing difficult situations and emotional challenges.

Prithviraj Sukumaran delivers a convincing performance as an ordinary man caught in extraordinary circumstances. Parvathy Thiruvothu gives a natural performance as Meera and portrays the emotions of a conflicted wife well. Hakkim Shahjahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Madhupal, Shankar Ramakrishnan, and Nakshathra perform their respective roles effectively and provide good support to the story. Their performances help maintain the seriousness of the film.

Director Nisam Basheer presents the story simply and engagingly, while writer Sameer Abdul builds the screenplay around the struggles of a common man. Jakes Bejoy's background score supports the emotional and tense moments of the film. Overall, I, Nobody is a suspenseful family drama that shows how one incident can completely change a person's life and how difficult it can be to regain trust after being wrongly accused.
