Hi is a family entertainer that blends romance, comedy, emotions, and family drama. Written and directed by Vishnu Edavan, the film follows Mayilsamy, a young man who strongly believes in love marriage. After facing rejection in his hometown, he leaves his family and moves to Chennai, where his life takes an unexpected turn.

Kavin plays Mayilsamy, an innocent and emotional young man who wants to find true love. After Mythili rejects his proposal, he becomes disappointed and leaves home. A year later, he is settled in Chennai, where he meets Devayani. Kavin brings a natural and energetic performance to the character, handling the comedy and emotional scenes with ease.

Nayanthara plays Devayani, a woman who leaves her hometown after her family tries to arrange a marriage against her wishes. Her meeting with Mayilsamy changes the direction of the story.
